CRAFT FILMS from the collection of Heritage Film Festival 2012 – 2013 will be showcased at the event which is anchored by Ms Suhasini Maniratnam.
Many eminent journalists, film personalities and craft enthusiasts participated in panel discussions on the films; Film directors, Mr Bharat Bala and Mr Rajiv Menon, Mr Mukund Padmanabhan, Editor, The Hindu Business line, Mr Sashi Kumar, Chairperson, Media Development Foundation, which runs the Asian College of Journalism, Ms Usha Krishna, former President of the World Crafts Council, who had organized an international craft film contest during her term as President, Mrs.Sabita Radhakrishna, writer, craft and textile expert, Ms Tehzeeb Katari, well known theater personality, Mr Chetan Shah, writer, film producer, critic and movie buff among others.
In order to preserve India’s finest cultural legacies, aadhar initiated The Heritage Film Festival to explore India’s glorious heritage through audiovisual media. The Heritage Film Festival is a project by aadhar to spread awareness and educate public about India’s heritage through films. After a huge success in Ahmedabad, the Festival is traveling with films to reach different audiences to promote India’s Heritage. Heritage Films Travel with collaborations.
